Have you registered your incoming kindergartner for the 24-25 school year? Hancock Elementary is hosting an event for all incoming kindergarten students and their guardians! Join us on Thursday, April 18th from 4:30-6:30 PM for a structured event where students will get to spend time with our kindergarten teachers and guardians will get a chance to tour our building and learn more about what to expect in their child's first year at elementary school! Doors open at 4:15 PM and will close at 4:30 PM, so please be on time! For more information, please see the details below:
REGISTERED KINDERGARTNERS EVENT!
-Meet the kindergarten teaching team, counselors, administrators, and other certified staff members
-Learn more about the different programs the elementary school offers
-Take a tour of the main level (including the library, gym, cafeteria, and kindergarten classrooms)
-Incoming kindergarten students will get sorted into one of our four Houses and get a new house shirt (pictured)
-Incoming kindergarten students will get a yard sign (pictured) to proudly display in their yard
-The playground will be open for all students and families to enjoy after the end of the event
*We ask that only incoming kindergarten students and their guardians attend this event. We understand that many families have multiple children, but we ask that siblings do not accompany as this is meant to be a special event for just our newest kindergarteners!
